Pitch This! 2021 Competition
Glenorchy District Football Club
'Pitch This' is designed to develop communication students into professional practitioners.
As part of the 2021 'Pitch This!' Competition, I worked with a group of four to represent the University of Canberra. We created a campaign for the Glenorchy District Football Club (GDFC). The client's goal was to make GDFC and facilities the leading community hub for residents in the Glenorchy City Council area.
Our Pitch was called "Have a go" Summer Clinics, with the central concept being to break common physical activity barriers and offer an opportunity for Glenorchy youth and their families to connect with GDFC.

Communication Strategy
Research Report
Victoria's Secret Communication Strategy
Disclaimer - This assignment was for university purposes only.
For this assessment, students were assigned the role of a communication consultant to identify an issue within their chosen organisation.

I chose Victoria's Secret to recommend implementing operational agility to assist with their reputation management. This report required in-depth research to support our argument and draw upon two communication theories. I also created an employee newsletter sample to illustrate my recommended approach in action.

Campaign Plan
Would you be this patient? - Campaign
Organ and Tissue Authority Campaign Plan
Disclaimer - This assignment was for university purposes only.
Individually students were required to create a campaign plan to promote awareness of organ donation, registration, and family conversations. The approach taken for my campaign was to appeal to the audience through emotion by putting them in another person's shoes to see their perception. The word 'patient' can be interpreted into two different meanings: the patient in need of treatment or patient in accepting waiting. The phrase "would you be this patient?" would be used in common waiting situations to create relevancy and to highlight the average waitlisted time for a transplant in hopes of creating awareness of the issues and opening up that conversation with family.
