Fifth Flare
On the 29th of November, 2021 I officially took over the Fifth Flare Instagram account. This is a small candle business that is seeking to grow with the assistance of digital marketing. I have offered assistance with logo and website design and are currently producing Instagram content and managing the account. Soon I hope to expand to other social media platforms such as Tik Tok and Facebook.

Canberra Hidden Gems
In a group of five, students were required to produce a social media audit addressing the brief. The team researched specific components to identify relevant analytics to determine techniques that would contribute towards achieving the brief of promoting Canberra as a place to live, work and/or visit.

Social Media Strategy
Canberra Hidden Gems
The information gathered from the audit was used to create a social media strategy. The purpose of the strategy was to clearly outline goals and objectives, target audiences, key messages, and content creation suitable for supporting the brief of promoting Canberra. To align with the brief, we decided to choose the name 'Canberra Hidden Gems' to showcase Canberra's unique spots and experiences.

Individually we took photos for the Instagram account created and together all five of us would manage the account. Photos located on the side are some examples of my photo creations, and located on the Instagram page is a reel promoting Yass Clementine bakery.

Measurement and Evaluation of Page
Canberra Hidden Gems
The final component of the assignment was to indiviually measure and evaluate the social media page results. Using a wide range of analytics and analytical tools I evaluated the overall pages effectiveness to gain a clear understanding of what was successful and working for the page. The results also identified recommendations for improvements for innovative ways to improve key metrics and performance
I received full marks for this assessment.

This assignment aimed to allow students to gain professional skills in developing a social media strategy, content development, and management; in groups of two, students were assigned an organisation. Clear and consistent communication ensured a well-crafted social media strategy to support Scouts ACT's social media presence and activities.
